Coronavirus Response: Office Lobby Closure and Other Measures

Dear East Wenatchee Water District Customer,

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we’re concerned, like others in our community, about the spread of the coronavirus. As a critical public utility, we’re committed to providing sustainable and reliable service to our customers. We are taking steps to provide the best level of response given the risks we know. Our top priorities continue to be the health and well-being of our employees, ensuring uninterrupted service to our customers, and finally, doing our part in preventing further spread of the virus.

As a precautionary measure to protect the safety of our customers and employees, effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020 the EWWD is closing public access to its office lobby/public entrance until further notice. District operations will continue without interruption and we do not anticipate any impact to our customers. Our customers will be able to reach our support team through normal channels and we will continue to move forward with more details as they become available.

We apologize in advance, but at the same time are encouraging patience in this time of uncertainty. Safe practices to protect the general public, customers and personnel is our top priority.

We look forward to working with other local agencies and community partners to help ensure the East Wenatchee Water District continues to provide sustainable and reliable utility services to our customers.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.
